As you may be aware, we are in a unique situation at the 422d Air Base Group as there is not a DoDEA School on our installations. Please read through the information below to start the process of PCSing In or out of the SLO Program.
Schools In the UK: Your Options at RAF Croughton
There are 3 main options when deciding what school system to participate in while stationed at RAF Croughton.
If you are interested in homeschooling, please contact the school liaison office at your earliest convenience for further information.
Non DoD Schools Program (NDSP)
The Non-DoD Schools Program (NDSP) can fund your child to attend a tuition-based school or to be homeschooled. NDSP will pay for tuition and some expenses can be reimbursable, such as textbooks and transportation, up to $53,400 /year, depending on the grade of your child. Home Study families are able to receive up to $10,500/year in grades K-6 and $21,500/year in grades 7-12. Some restrictions do apply in both cases.

Youth Sponsorship from Child & Youth Programs
Does your child want their own sponsor? Youth Programs can put them in contact with a local youth who can tell him/her more about England and RAF Croughton.
